BIO 11004 - Plants and People This course will present interrelationships of plants and humans from both historical and modern points of view. Fundamentals of plant biology (structure, function, genetics, and evolution) are examined. Also presented will be origins of agriculture and civilization, tropical and temperate food plants, medicinal plants, drug plants, destruction of the environment and its ultimate effect on food plants.
