A study of the devices used in the control of industrial machinery. Topics include: switches, control transformers, relays, contactors, solenoids, limit switches, proximity switches, pressure switches and transducers, temperature switches and transducers, timers, counters, motor starters, ladder control diagrams, bar sequence charts, and power factor correction.
