MTH 21704 - Introduction to Probability An introduction to probability and descriptive statistics. Topics include: introductory probability; conditional probability; combinatorics; random variables; expected value; discrete probability distributions (binomial, geometric, hyper-geometric, Poisson); graphical representations of data; measures of central tendency, variation, and relative standing; and normal curve probabilities.
