BIO 48101-04 - Senior Research I

This course is the beginning of an independent research project, with faculty guidance, of a selected topic in Biology. Students will begin with a literature search. Students will then either 1) perform an inquiry-based research project that involves lab or field data collection or 2) perform an extensive literature research project. At the end of the semester, the progress of the research project will be reported in written format. The research project will be completed in Biology Senior Research II.

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing with a major/minor in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science. and sponsorship by an instructor.
