EDU 33203 - Phonics for Middle Childhood

This course was designed to cover all phonics requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education as they relate to middle childhood needs. A supervised fifteen-hour (15) field experience in a middle childhood setting at a partnership school will include observation, tutoring with classroom teacher guidance, lesson planning, teaching lessons prepared under the guidance of the course instructor and /or the classroom teacher and authentic assessment of a student’s developing literacy.
