EDU 41403 - Educational Psychology


This course explores solving common problems of teaching through the application of knowledge drawn from research in educational psychology on cognitive science, learning and memory, developmentally appropriate practices, assessment, problem-solving skills, theories of intelligence, multicultural education motivation of students, and creation of a positive learning environment. Student-centered approaches to teaching are used which reflect behaviorist and constructivist perspectives.
