ENG 37103 - Literature and Media An exploration of ways in which literature and visual culture, particularly the cinematic, mirror the complexities of human existence and meaning and work individually to influence other media. The structures and styles, themes and motifs, and philosophical preoccupations of high-modern and post- modern literary expressions and traditions, films, and some other media will be examined to provide an acquaintance with, and relationship of, the authors, works, and artistic and philosophical concepts portrayed.
