MTH 37403 - Mathematical Models


An introduction to mathematical modeling. Discrete and continuous mathematical models of real-world problems in various disciplines are analyzed numerically, graphically, and analytically through techniques of algebra, geometry, calculus, numerical analysis, and available technology. Topics include: graphing, recursion formulas, difference equations, curve fitting, continuous optimization techniques, and linear programming.
