NUR 53203 - Advanced Pharmacology

This course focuses on pharmacotherapeutic (pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and pharmacogenomics) principles, evidence-based guidelines, and outcomes for major categories of pharmacotherapy prescribed for common and complex health problems across the lifespan. The course also presents the legal, ethical, and professional dimensions for safe, high quality, and cost-effective prescribing by advanced practice nurses.
