Bachelor of Science in Nursing Learning Outcomes

The graduate of the RN-BSN program will be able to:

  1. Synthesize and integrate knowledge from the natural and behavioral sciences, humanities, nursing theory, and research into professional nursing practice.
  2. Integrate communication principles and collaboration with healthcare team members to promote movement toward optimal levels of health for patients.
  3. Integrate and synthesize the concepts and principles of critical thinking into nursing practice to facilitate participation in effecting change in health care delivery to society.
  4. Integrate leadership and management skills utilizing ethical decision-making and evidence-based practice.
  5. Develop an individualized plan for personal continued learning and professional growth to adjust to changes occurring within the health care system.
