Bachelor of Science Learning Outcomes

The student will demonstrate:

  • A knowledge base in agriculture
  • A knowledge base of teaching principles and practices
  • A depth of field experiences involving diverse public school populations
  • Knowledge of incorporating Reading into instructional practice

Program Description

Our four-year Agriculture Education (Ag Ed) program focuses on teaching leaders who will then teach students in middle childhood and Adolescent to Young Adult (AYA) on agricultural concepts. Ag Ed students will explore extensive grade-level content, specific skills, and knowledge necessary for effective teaching, while gaining experience through engaging classroom work and immersive field experiences.
