ACL 52002 - Professional Leadership Principles in Sports

This course will increase awareness of the need for continued professional development and recommend resources for coaching, safety, sport science, and sport-specific information. This course will facilitate and encourage direct contact with sports governing bodies so that coaches can remain up-to-date on the most current rules and any local modifications. A practical field experience and supervision will be the cornerstone of this course. Each coach will conduct the field experience during the year following the offering of the course. (100 hours required)
