SOC 37302 - Social Gerontology


Designed to give the student a specific orientation to the social implications of aging in today’s society. Emphasis will be on the social, psychological, economic, and physical aspects of aging. Institutional programming for older adults will be developed through comparison of societies. Deals with the aspects of aging and focuses on the relationship of the older person and the society.
