NUR 22201 - Professional Nursing Practice


This course explores the dynamic and evolving landscape of the nursing profession, focusing on current trends, challenges, and issues that impact nursing practice, healthcare delivery, and patient outcomes. Students will critically examine emerging healthcare technologies, policy changes, ethical and legal considerations, and the role of nurses in leadership and advocacy. Key topics include workforce diversity, cultural competence, interprofessional collaboration, evidence-based practice, and the future of nursing in an increasingly complex healthcare system.
